Print is an indispensable and yet often overlooked cornerstone of our society. Despite its significance, the products it produces are often taken for granted and its importance underestimated. It is time to give the entire industry back the visibility it deserves and to show it appreciation. After all, print is not just a means to an end, but an integral part of our cultural identity and an indispensable part of our daily lives.

Werner Theißen

President Konica Minolta Business Solutions Germany & Austria

The printing industry is facing major challenges - but one thing is clear: it can't do without print! Print is indispensable, it is present in all areas of our daily lives. As co-initiator of WE.LOVE.PRINT., we are committed to making the power and versatility of print visible again. We want to create a new awareness for print products so that the demand for printed products increases again and the entire industry is strengthened in the long term. Because print is not only tradition, but also innovation, which we are actively helping to shape.

Bettina Knape

Press Officer, Head of Public Relations Bundesverband Druck+Medien e.V. (BVDM)

German printing and media companies are among the most modern in the world. All industries and organizations are absolutely dependent on our print products - which means: nothing works without us! It is precisely this message that the initiative will impressively convey to the public, consumers, decision-makers and the urgently needed next generation of skilled workers.

Thorsten Kinnen

Business Development Manager Professional Printing Konica Minolta Business Solutions Germany

Over a year ago, the idea was born that we need to do something for print in general. It's not about a black and white view between the digital world and print, but about a responsible mix! Without print, things simply wouldn't work in many areas; print is everywhere, but is often no longer even noticed. This is one reason for the current challenges facing our industry. And this is where the WE.LOVE.PRINT initiative comes in. We all have to work together to ensure that print is brought back into society's consciousness. That is why I would like to motivate everyone who works in or for this industry to support the initiative as a member.

Oliver Curdt

Member of the Presidium of the Bundesverband Druck+Medien e.V. and Managing Director of the Verband Druck+Medien Nordwest e.V.

We love print - print is our passion! That's why we want to convince and inspire others. It goes without saying that we are part of the WE.LOVE.PRINT initiative!

Rüdiger Maaß

Management of Fachverband Medienproduktion e.V. (FMP)

There is no question that print is outstanding. The advantages of print for product and brand communication in the multichannel publishing environment are also obvious, unfortunately only to insiders. The tasks of the initiative will be: to transfer print into the world of digital transformation, to demonstrate the advantages of Print 2.0 in such a way that they create benefits for marketers and to anchor print in society in a new way.

Niklas Eren

Managing Partner Holding Carl Berberich GmbH

As a partner to the printing industry, we witness print media every day that generates enthusiasm and provides an effective advertising response to our fast-paced society. We are therefore committed to working with our partners to give the positive messages of the WE.LOVE.PRINT campaign greater visibility.
